Ask SLIP ("we", "us") is a situational lifestyle intelligence service operated by [COMPANY NAME], [COMPANY ADDRESS]. Contact: [LEGAL_EMAIL]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
Ask SLIP suggests possible activities ("scenarios") composed from third-party place data, weather, and your inputs. Suggestions are simulations, not bookings, recommendations of safety, or guarantees of availability, accessibility, price, or quality.
You must be at least 16 years old in the EU/UK or 13 years old in the US (with parental consent where required). You confirm this on signup.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Don't reverse engineer, scrape, abuse rate limits, attempt to extract third-party API data in bulk, harass other users, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Place information is provided by Google Maps Platform, Foursquare, and other partners. Hours, pricing, and availability are theirs to maintain — we may show stale data. Always verify before you go.
Narratives are produced by large language models and may be inaccurate. Treat them as creative framing, not fact.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that scenarios will be safe, available, accessible, suitable, or fit for any purpose. You assume all risk in following or not following any suggestion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or (b) USD $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (gross negligence, willful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights).
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION], unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
If you live in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from any paid subscription. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
You may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights via the privacy controls in Profile or by emailing [LEGAL_EMAIL]. We do not sell personal information.
